We just got word that metro line #4 will be closed between the stations of “Les Halles” and “Montparnasse-Bienvenüe” from April 3rd to April 6th, which means the “Cité” metro stop where we meet for “The Must Do Central Paris tour” will be closed on both Saturday April 4th and Monday April 6th. But don’t worry, the show must go on! Just give yourself the extra 10-15 minutes to take one of the alternate routes to get to the exit of the metro "Cité" where we will still meet.
Alternate routes:
- You can get off at the “Châtelet” stop using line # 1, 7, 11, or 14 and follow the signs to Sortie (exit) Place du Châtelet. Once you exit, cross the nearest bridge (Pont au Change) south across the Seine river and onto the Cité island, keep walking straight on Boulevard du Palais one block and take your first left onto “Rue de Lutece”. Keep walking straight one block onto the plaza and you’ll see the metro exit of Cité and us standing by it wearing an orange top.
- You can also get off at the “St. Michel” stop using the RER B or C. Crossing the bridge “Pont Saint-Michel” keep heading north one block and turn right on “Rue de Lutece”. Keep walking straight out onto the open plaza and look for the metro exit Cité on your left side and us standing by it wearing an orange top.
If you put in “48.855048, 2.347116” into google maps, you’ll see the exact location of where we’ll be standing. If you feel that you’re close, you can ask for direction to the “marché ou fleurs” (flower market), we’re standing right by one of the ends of the flower market.
If these directions are not clear, don't hesitate to contact us.
Voila, see you soon!
