Due to unforeseen circumstances, we regret that as of SEPTEMBER 1st, 2016 we will not be offering tours until further notice. We hope to be able to offer tours again within the next few years.
Thanks for all of your support so far--we greatly appreciate it!

Do I need to make a reservation?
Although a reservation is not required in order for you to join our free tours, we highly recommend that you reserve in advance. Doing so will help us plan the number of guides we will need to insure the quality of your tour. Although there is no guarantee of a small group size on our free tours, we do our best to keep the size small enough to not compromise the quality of the tour.
I’m a group that’s larger than 7 people, why can’t I make an online reservation?
Our Free tours are meant for individuals and families or small groups of 7 people or less. We ask groups of 8 people or more to please book a private tour by contacting us through our "Contact Us" page. This will help us plan appropriately.
How long do the tours last?
Depends on the tour and the pace of your groups. But the approximate times are:
CENTRAL PARIS- Must Do: 2.5 hours
MONTMARTRE- An Artist’s World: 2 hours
Where do your tours end?
This, of course, also depends on the tour:
CENTRAL PARIS- Must Do: Place de la Concorde (at the end of the Tuileries gardens)
MONTMARTRE- An Artist’s World: Place des Abbesses
Both end next to the corresponding metro stops.
Do you offer private tours?
Yes, we do! You can take any of the tours we offer as a private (paid) tour for a more intimate experience. We just ask that you email us so we can provide you with the pricing and can schedule the tour with you according to our guides’ availabilities. For now, we do not offer custom tailored tours
How much do your tours cost?
Both our regular Central Paris and Montmartre tours are free, and depend purely on whatever donations guests would like to make. Your guide will never pressure you to make a donation. We always allow you to enjoy the tour first and will only ask for donations at the end of the tour, that way you can be the judge as to how much you thought it was worth. We also want to make the tour accessible to people of all budgets, so whatever you can afford is fine. Your generous donations allow us to continue offering tours and expand our family project.
Are the tours age-specific? Are they appropriate for kids?
The tours are appropriate for all ages and especially designed to entertain young and old. We’ve had guests from 3 to 93 who’ve expressed enthusiasm and interest for the tour.
What form of transportation do we use? Can I go on the tour if I have difficulty walking?
Our own two legs. Why not? It’s great exercise, eco-friendly, and there’s really no better way to see Paris. We go at a leisurely pace and there are plenty of opportunities to sit down and rest for a few minutes in case you get a bit tired
If you have difficulty walking keep in mind that these are walking tours, and we would especially suggest you take caution if you want to take the Montmartre Tour as it is set on a hill and there will be a few inclines (and declines). We chose the easiest route possible, but it’s impossible to avoid it being a slight hike.
Are the tours wheelchair accessible?
The Central Paris (Must Do Tour) is wheelchair accessible, however, the Montmartre Tour would be more of a challenge due to the fact that it’s set on a hill. Please contact us in advance at through our "Contact Us" page if you plan on joining the tour with a wheelchair so that we can be prepared.
That, you can only find out by coming on one of our tours. So what are you waiting for? We’re looking forward to seeing you there!
